Shabbat (The Sabbath Day) שַׁבָּת
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep set-apart (holy). You are to work six days, and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.”
Shemot / Exodus 20: 8-10
“Blessed is the one who does this, the son of man who takes hold of it,
who keeps from profaning Shabbat, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.
Do not let a son of a foreigner who has joined himself to Adonai say,
‘Adonai will surely exclude me from His people.” .....
For thus says Adonai .....
Also the foreigners who join themselves to Adonai, to minister to Him,
and to love the Name of Adonai, and to be His servants,
all who keep from profaning Shabbat,
and hold fast to My covenant, these I will bring to My holy mountain,
and let them rejoice in My House of Prayer .....
For My House will be called House of Prayer for all nations.””

Shabbat Testimonies:
Rob’s testimony:
pamphlet from 7th day adventist church let to spirit let conviction towards keeping Shabbat. It is a commandment, but more than that it is logical. Everybody, even our electrocins, needs to be revived and even us as people. We have so many distractions in life, shabbat rejuvinates and revives us. ther eis so much stress in the world . if we dont take time off the circular pattern of life to take a break from the world we will fall into that the sabbath is a break form this insanity that we are living in, there are practical reasons we keep it, much like a 24 hour cycle cycardian ryth.
it sets us apart, who are gods children? if we keep the sabbtah we probably are. it makes total sense to keep it. it brings us towards God. without it we would gte lost in the secuar world. If it wasnt commanded, it brings us back to reality, it is God wo is the reality, not this world. To kep the sabbath is to reconnect, to stay connected, and to help us keep going with God.
